I just recently subscribed to receiving emails to the NY Times of varios in-depth articles about climate change around the world. I feel that it is very important, like any injustice issue, to be informed and up to date about environmental issues.
Especially when it comes to climate change, it can get very confusing and overwhelming. This article breaks down climate change in basic descriptions and makes it easy to digest complex terms. The article is broken down to three main parts:
1) What is happening?
2) What could happen?
3) What can we do?
Even with all the definitions and break downs given, my favorite quote was in the the last paragraph:
"These personal steps may be small in the scheme of things, but they can raise your own consciousness about the problem — and the awareness of the people around you. In fact, discussing this issue with your friends and family is one of the most meaningful things you can do." -NY Times
