Fall is here!

Ok, that's probably the millionth time you've heard that. But hey it's exciting and is something to distract us from all the terrible things currently happening in the world.

haha...

So to celebrate this season and give you some more distractions, here are a few things to incorporate into your life this fall:

1. Wardrobe: Everlane

The High-Rise Skinny Jean, $68

The Cotton Long-Sleeve Crew, $50

Everlane has amazing pieces for a fair price if you want to include more cold weather clothing into your wardrobe. They even have a section called Choose What You Pay if you are looking for a great deal.

2. Candles: The Little Market

Soy Blend Candle-Apple , $26

Soy Blend Candle-Apple, $26

As night falls sooner, lighting a candle in the evening seems like the best thing to do. And one that smells like fresh fall apples seems too perfect. The Little Market candles not only creates beautiful, simple candles , but they are a non-profit founded by women to support women.

If the candle doesn't make you feel good, their mission certainly will.

What's cozier than cuddling up with a cup of fair trade and eco-friendly chai tea?

4. Skincare: Everyday Oil

Seriously my favorite body oil ever.

It absorbs very well into my skin and has the most amazing scent ever that's perfect for fall (well whenever really). It is completely natural and made in small batches. Hence why it is currently sold out till 10/10 however it is worth the wait.

Trust me. Your entire body will thank you.

5. Blankets: Sackcloth + Ashes

Fleece Charcoal , $39

A fleece blanket sounds amazing as the temps drop (or not #climatechange). Sackcloth + Ashes makes sure that not only are you incredibly comfortable in these blankets, but that every blanket you get anther blanket is given to a local homeless shelter.

A blanket for good.

6. Pins: Georgina Trevino Jewelry

Mexico Lindo , $25

Ok so this isn't necessarily fall, however there have been many natural disasters occurring and I love seeing designers stepping up to aid whichever way they can. Designer, Georgina Trevino, has created these beautiful pins to raise awareness and relief for Mexico following their two devestating earthquakes. 75% of the proceeds goes directly towards relief and shipping is free.

And besides, wouldn't these pins look amazing on your jean jackets this fall? Why not support something while doing so.

Heard of these brands?

Know of anymore companies to look at this fall?

Let me know!

Fun fact: Pearl is my birthstone 🕊✨ So of course I’m a lil obsessed with the new organic pearl line from @mejuri 🌸

“The average American makes 4.4 pounds of trash per day. But who wants to be average?”- @packagefreeshop ✨🦋 I received this lil’ package full of some awesome #zerowaste goodies, but also received a lil’ reminder that even packaging shouldn’t immediately be seen as trash.
It’s best to look at things like this and remember to try to divert waste wherever I can. For me that will look like reusing this box for a present for a friend.
Each of us can try to find creative ways to prevent everyday items from becoming waste or generating more waste in the first place.
But with all that said I ALWAYS want to emphasize that no one is perfect and every step you take is a huge win!! So let’s go out the and be #lowwaste conscious together. ✨🕊🌎
An old pic but I’ve noticed some new faces and wanted to say hey 👋🏽✨ (I haven’t done an introduction in a while so here we go) :

My name is Jazmine and I started this blog my freshman year of college (I guess now 4 years!?) It originally was a fashion blog that I used as a creative outlet. But after a year in, I learned about #labortrafficking and #fastfashion and knew I had to change. After a LONG journey and deep reflection/research, I’ve transitioned into becoming a sustainable fashion AND lifestyle blogger. I’m still figuring out things day-by-day and I want to empower others to do the same. We’re all figuring things out. So I’m glad you’re here and I can’t wait to walk out the #environmentaljustice journey together 🦋

P.S. I also deeply enjoy thrifting, learning about nature, talking about the enneagram, and watching BBC. I swear I do other things too hahah🤓
I’ve been a bit obsessed with these post-rain clouds 🌥 Here are a few of my faves 🕊🦢
