Instagram is hands-down my favorite app on my phone.
My fingers naturally gravitate towards it.
And though I end up spending way too much time on it, Instagram has been an amazing tool in discovering other ethical brands and people who inspire me on my journey of conscious living.
So here are a few of my favorite ethical Instagram accounts to follow currently:
Lauren Singer is the owner of the Package Free Shop and the blog Trash is for Tossers. I have been following Lauren for a few months now and I am inspired by her story and her perseverance to help others live a zero waste lifestyle.
Lauren has been living zero waste for the past five years and all of her trash can be held in a single mason jar . However she doesn't strays away from a 'holier than thou' mentality, and presents zero waste lifestyle in the most accessible way possible through her youtube videos, blog, and shop.
Sarina Ho inspires me to see the intersection of where ethical living and aesthetics meet.
When most people think of ethical living, especially towards the fashion industry, they think of either hippie fashion or unstylish wear. Sarina defies these beliefs and encourages me to do the same through her simplistic fashion and style.
The Good Trade is a digital media company dedicated to promoting social good that benefits both people and the planet.
What I love the most about them is their curated lists. These guides range over various themes such as fashion, home, beauty, gifts, food, travel, etc. They are my go-to for whenever I am trying to find ethical anything.
And it is always nice to see more of their suggestions pop-up on my feed.
Margaux's passion for ethical living pours out of every post and video she puts out.
From a vegan diet to overall minimal waste practices, she appears to do it all! Granted I know no one is perfect, but she continually inspires me to see what ways that I can live a more ethical lifestyle.
The description is all in the name.
Ethical Made Easy strives to make ethical living attainable for others through the resources featured through their Instagram and website. Similar to The Good Trade, Ethical Made Easy highlights various people, brands, podcasts, etc. that allow others the ability to better grasp what it looks like to live ethically.
But what I really love are their thought provoking posts that remind me why I continue to strive for ethical living in the first place. Some days I wake up wondering why do I even bother pursuing sustainable living at all, and their posts help encourage me to keep going.
These are just a few Instagrams that I love currently. But would you like to see more?
Any type of Instagram you would like to see particularly?
Let me know!
